Krista De La Rosa (Texas / Administrator / Creator): I am a self taught photographer and rambling music journalist. I am a junior at Texas State studying Mass Communications: PR & Digital Media and Photography. Now, it’s time to rewind this little life of mine.

The first show/concert I ever attended was Bob Dylan. I was 6 years old and had already had his entire Blonde on Blonde memorized. Blood on Tracks was my first vinyl of his that I ever received. However, the first vinyl I ever had was The Graduate (Simon & Garfunkel). By age 7, I had the entire Face to Face album by The Kinks memorized. I would always sing “Too Much On My Mind” when I’d walk aimlessly around my house.

12 years later, I photograph live music a few days every week. I’ve had a photograph of mine published on Rolling Stone during SXSW, I’ve had another photo of mine published on an Austin city Map guide. My work has been published on world wide blogs and artists such as Bowerbirds and Black Angels personal website. I write for Modern Mystery Blog based out of New York. I also run a tumblr which focuses mainly around music.

I am making a difference in this little life of mine and the only thing that has never let me down has been the music I’ve discovered. That is why I want to return the favor to the world and share some of the most beautiful sounds this world is full of.
